Wellis has built their own triple Reflective Thermal Barrier (RTB) insulation. A technological triumph which collects excess or leftover heat from the spa equipment and reflects it back into the internal workings of the spa and the shell. This system utilizes two types of effective insulation. 

Full foam insulation

The shell of each Wellis hot tub is coated with a one-centimeter thick layer of polyurethane foam. This is effective both for heat and sound insulation, so it runs more efficiently–and quietly–than many others.

Thermal wrap insulation

The pool cabinets surrounding Wellis hot tubs are also insulated, but with a foil sometimes referred to as thermal wrap insulation. Heat from the pumps operating the hot tub is reflected by this thermal wrap, onto the shell and the water itself.
