How To Get Your Hot Tub Ready For Use
Step 1: Fill Your Hot Tub
Congratulations on buying your hot tub! Here’s how to fill it up with water.
- Remove your bracket and take your filter out.
- If your tub has a bleeder valve, open that up to make sure there’s no air bubbles trapped.
- Make sure all of the jets are set to the open position.
- We recommend buying a pre-filter to attach to your garden hose.
- Wait for the tub to fill up!
Step 2: Add Starter Chemicals To Your Tub
Starter chemicals are extremely important for your hot tub startup! We go over the ProTeam spa chemicals and the FROG @ease floating system in this tutorial.
Step 3: Perform Water Testing & Make Adjustments
Use the test strips that came with your hot tub. Take your sticks and run it through the water for 5 seconds. Use the back of the water testing container as a color code to get your results. You can use your Epic Hot Tubs cheat sheet to use to adjust chemicals to the appropriate level.
