Maintenance & Water Care Technician for Hot Tub & Swim Spa Store in North Carolina
Position Overview
Pay: $18-25/hour
Epic Hot Tubs is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician & Water Care Specialist to join our team. This position focuses on providing expert water care services for our clients’ hot tubs and swim spas, while also supporting our store operations through facility maintenance, warehousing, and logistics tasks. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, physically capable, and comfortable working both independently at client sites and as part of our team at our Pineville location.
Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct water testing and chemical balancing at client locations for hot tubs and swim spas
- Adjust sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and other chemical levels to maintain optimal water quality
- Perform drain and refill services for hot tubs and swim spas
- Educate clients on proper water care procedures and chemical usage
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for client visits
- Clean and maintain outdoor display hot tubs at our showroom
- Maintain outdoor areas of the store, including walkways, display areas, and landscaping
- Operate forklift to unload delivery trucks and move inventory
- Assist with light warehousing duties including receiving, organizing, and stocking products
- Keep service vehicle clean, organized, and properly stocked with supplies
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Epic Hot Tubs professionally
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Previous experience with pool, spa, or hot tub water care
- Knowledge of water chemistry and chemical safety
- Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Background in grounds maintenance or facility upkeep
